Dr Arthur Oppenheimer was a trained dentist, he first worked as such in Zwickau: In 1933 he chose emigration (a decision also enforced because of his political activities as a member of the SPD - a party banned by the Nazis) and made aliyah. Initially he worked as the dentist to Kibbutz Ein Harod. Later he became the regional supervisor of dental practitioners in Jewish settlements. After divorce in the late 1950's he moved to Haifa with his second wife |
